Guys, I'm pretty sure that Doom III was confirmed for the Xbox at E3. I read a news article about it 3 months ago, and I'm pretty sure they mention "...coming out for the PC, Xbox..."
those are sweet, i hope Doom comes out for the xbox, and im pretty sure it will, in the august issue of OXM it gave a screenshot of it, with a caption, in a section that was showing upcoming games, id have to go over it again, but the graphics look like they could better halo, which would be really awesome, i havent played any in the Doom series but if this game is coming to xbox im sure ill get it.

lol, you probly need like at least 2ghz, 512mb of ram, and like a ti 4600 to run the game. lol.
Gforce 4???? That's the MAXIMUM req.....Probably a Gforce 2-3 will work...

Hopefully this will come to xbox, after seeing Enclave I’m sure doomIII will fit nice on the xbox with minimal sacrifice. I’ve already done away with my desk-top replacing it with a nice laptop for my graphical programs and web surfing, hopefully xbox will add to this extinction of my desk top for gaming, fingers are crossed.
yea. even john carmack said that doom 3 could be ported to the xbox with minimal changes.

I see something about Doom III on some sites. What you say is JUST the minimum requirements to play that game, that's mean low resolution (640x480), slowdown when they are lots of textures, loading too long, etc... There are tested the game with a unknown PC graphics card (Geforce Next-Gens), 1 Gb of ram, Pentium 4 2.0 Ghz. So technically, we can see this game on Xbox but if they do....we can lost some jaw-dropping graphics that are fully on PC.Originally posted by Snoopy7548
