Scrap Metal...probably the easiest stuff to find. BUT I CAN'T FIND IT!!!

Pretty much any Dwemer ruin has creatures that will drop scrap metal in spades. Not to mention a plethora of the junk can be found in chests, crates, barrels, and kegs.

Why do you need it?

Just buy some from the shop that is Under Skar in Ald'ruhn. She has some, like 5 pieces. Her shop is the magical one, I forget which one...but eh, you'll find it. It's on the gound level, don't take the rope bridges up there, just walk on the ground.
