NFL Fever online besides XBox Live

Is there going to be , or is there already, a way to play NFL Fever 2003 online besides when XBox Live comes out?

I know it's system link enabled like Halo, so I would assume it would work.

Anyone tried this or can point me to a link?

if it is system link enabled, I think you can use XBC or gamespy already.
