    Default Upload Speeds

With Xbox Live Comming up soon I'm curious about our upload speeds as this will determine if we can use communicators or have multiple players on one box. But many of us cable customers are have capped upload speeds @ arround 30-60kbps I myself get @ max 32k what is your upload speed and also post who your isp is. BTW you can test your speed here http://www.dslreports.com/stest heh oops i have to admit it has been awhile since i have tested my speeds i now have 250 kbps upload speeds and 1252 kbps download speeds. =) thank the worlds one god (pepito) for the edit button

My upload speed is...well...wierd. One day it's 90+kbps, the next it's in the 70+\-kbps range. Atleast it hasn't dropped below 64kbps.

Edit 1: AHHH!! I take that back!!!! I just took the test again, and it was 64kbps! That's it. I'm calling Comcast tomorrow and complaining! It should not be this low for cable modem! Especially with the guy across the street is going a lot faster than I am!

Edit 2: Which is more reliable on dslreports.com? Megapath, CA, LinkLine, LA, or NAC.NET, NY?

    NAC.NET, NY- Up: 63kbps
    LinkLine, LA- Up: 62kbps
    Megapath, CA- Up: 116kbps

I get the same speeds on them all but the good thing about my isp is they by their lines from Level3.Net which is what M$ uses for Xbox Live

What a great way to make people like you!!!!

Honestly, post counts don't matter. It's more about quality. Unfotunately, I have neither.

Anyway, my up speed changes every test too, but it's never been below 71.

    252kbps/up

I think I'm alittle above your survery. That is strange too because it used to be capped at 128kb. Glad that has been fixed.

XBL only requires 128kbps upstream in order to function smoothly. If you have more, then thats great...but they claim 128 is all thats required.

Well in my opinion the only way to solve this delima is for us to test all this out so i think we will all have to be beta testers that is the only answer =)

I pull between 132kbps and 136kbps down. Depends on the time of day I am on.
