Hello, since this thread went over so well at TXB forums (over 8500 page views), and since I'm new here, I thought you XBA guys might appreciate it. I am also pretty experienced at the game, if anyone has any questions, simply ask them in the thread and I'll try to respond.
Big spoilers ahead, new stuff will be at the bottom.
Goldbrand, long sword, one handed. 10-50, 10-45, 10-25, weight 40, value 150k, cast on strike fire damage 10-30
Locate the Underwater Boethiah Shrine Ruin, which is just off the west coast of Hla Oad. Within the shrine you must locate the desecrated Statue of Boethiah and talk to the head that is lying on the ground. After he gives you the quest, go to the 3rd floor of the Ghorak Manor in Caldera, and find an orc sculptor named Duma gro-Lag. He will tell you to find a book (Boethiah's Glory), which you can get from Jobasha's Rare Books in the Foreign Quarter Lower Waistworks in Vivec. Return the book to the orc scuptor, and wait about 30-50 days. A new statue will be built north of Khartag Point, talk to it for the Goldbrand
Mace of Molar Bal, mace, one handed. 3-30, 3-35, 1-4, weight 45, worth 25k. casts absorb str and magicka on strike
Locate the Yansirramus Shrine located 2 islands west of Tel Aruhn. Talk to the statue of Molag Bal, he will entrust you to kill one of his minions, Menta Na, located in the Kora-Dur cave east of Kogoruhn (just NW of Red Mountain). The cave entrance is located high up on the hills. Once you defeat Menta Na, return to Molag Bal and he will reward you the mace.
Skull Crusher, blunt, one handed, 10-60, 10-50, 7-10, weight 15, worth 48k. constant effect: feather 15, attack +5
Go to Sadrith Mora, and head out east over the hills. You should reach a daedric shrine with no entrance. Go northeast from here onto an island and find the Omaren Ancestral Tomb. The tomb is long and difficult, and near the end you should reach the Forgotten Vaults of Anudnabia. Enter the locked vault; the hammer is located in a dangling locked chest in the middle of the smelter. (there is a daedric mask up on a ledge too, right above the glass sword i think, they are rare, pick it up)
Scourge, blunt, one hand, 10-35, 10-35, 6-8, weight 30, value 80k, cast on use: summon dremora & scamp for 30
Go to Tel Fyr. Enter the Hall of Fyr, and look for an opening in the ceiling. Levitate to the top, then look for a locked chest in the same room as Divayth Fyr. The Scourge is in the chest. (kill this guy after you are cured of Corprus, he has full Daedric. and remember to use his amulet )
Daedric Crescent, long blade, 2 hands, 15-40, 20-50, 5-15, 35 weight, 180k value, cast when strikes disintergrate armor 5-30, paralyze 10 seconds
Go to Tel Fry, and fly up to Divayth Fyr's room (he is a 4000 year old mage with full daedric armor, VERY TOUGH customer.) Either kill him or try to take the amulet from his chest. Put the amulet on, you'll be wisked away to a daedric shrine where you'll fight Lord Dragas Volar, who uses this weapon. Kill him, you'll be transported back with the weapon to Tel Fyr.
Spear of Bitter Mercy, 1-15, 1-15, 15-60, 2 handed spear, weight 20, value 130k, cast upon use summon storm atronarch, reflect.
Go into the canal works of St. Delyn Canton in Vivec, down there you will find a door. Through it is a bunch of enemies guarding a statue. Once you have killed them off, talk to the statue, and he gives you a quest. To do the quest, go find Big Head who lives on the westernmost island from Dagon Fel (its directly north of the ruins), then get the Fork of Horipilation, and head west to the first island you come across, where there should be a Giant Bull Netch. Make sure you use the fork to land the killing blow, then go back to the statue to collect the spear. (i'm level 60 spear char, best spear i've found so far, i think it's the best in the game)
Umbra Sword, 2 handed long sword, 10-50, 10-45, 10-40, weight 40, value 110k. soul trap 120 secs, cast on use.
East of Suran you'll see an Orc with full Orcish armor. You can talk to him and he'll challenge you, or you can just whoop him without saying anything. If you're a wimp levitate on the rock first because he's pretty tough.
Chrysamere, 5-70, 5-60, 5-40, 60 weight, 95k worth. cast on use: resist fire, restore health, reflect
Go Southwest from Sandrith Mora and look for a cave entrance to Abanabi. In the cave there just go through and one of the people you kill has it.
Lord's Mail, 333 AR, 30 weight (heavy), 190k value. cast when used: cure poison, resist magic 20-30 for 30.
Go to Ebonheart. Near the castle, there will be an underwater door (check your map in local mode, it will show up as a dot). Go through the door into the caves, where you will have to kill a soldier for the armor. You can also get in here from the Imperial Commission in Ebonheart. Look for a secret door in the shrine room. The key is under a pillow of one of the house beds.
Dragonbone Cuirass 333 AR, 50 weight, 150k worth, contant effect: resist fire 100%.
Go to Ebonheart. South of the castle, there will be a couple of small islands. There is an underwater cave entrance at the base of one of the islands. You will then have to traverse through an underwater grotto and then go through the Mudan Dwemer Ruins to finally reach a locked closet with the armor inside. (there are keys for the Lock Level 100 doors scattered around). You will need to be able to swim underwater for long durations.
Cuirass of the Savior's Hide, 266 AR, weight 15 (light), value 150k. constant effect: resist magicka 60%
One of the most useful armors in the game, even for people not trained in light armor. Highest resist magic you'll find in the game, and you can't make one half as good. Great to use with boots of blinding speed. Go to Tel Fyr, upstairs in the Hall of Fyr is a closet with 100 lock cuirass inside.
Fist of Randagulf Left hand, 300 AR, weight 16 (heavy), 35k worth. constant effect: fortify agility 20
Go to Gnaar Mok (easiest way is to take the silt strider to Khuul, and from Khuul take a boat to Gnaar Mok). Go north of town to Khartag Point (a massive rock), and locate the Ilunibi Cave. At the very end of the cave, you should come across a strange room with 6 bells and some chests. The gauntlets are cleverly hidden behind one of the chests.
Fist of Randagulf Right hand, 300 AR, weight 16 (heavy), 35k worth, constant effect: fortify str 20
Same as Fist of Randagulf Left Hand.
Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw, 300, weight 10 (heavy), value 125k, constant effect: fortify agility and endurance 40 points
This helm is amazing, and no face, so beast races can use. Visit the Assurdiarpal Shrine located on the eastern coast of an island far west of Dagon Fel. In the Shrine, find the statue of Malacath and talk to it. Do his quest. Go to the town of Vivec, ask any local about Oreyn Bearclaw, and you'll know who to kill. Return to the statue of Malacath for the Helm.
Mask of Clavicus Vile, 266 AR, 15 weight (heavy), worth 15k, constant effect: fortify personality 30
A great helm for bribing, taunting, etc. Just across the bay (east I think) of Dagon Fel is a Dwemer tower with a necromancer. Kill him for the helm.
Robe of St. Roris, weight 3, 40 value, cast when used: restore fatigue and health 15 points a second
UPDATE: No longer is this robe constant effect, it's cast when used. A lot less powerful now obviously.
WARNING: I strongly suggest you don't use this if you want ANY challenge at all, by far the most invicibility you're going to get in this game. Go to Assamanu, located on an island southeast of Syda Neen. Get to the end of the cave, the robe is in a locked chest on a high ledge. There is an Ascended Sleeper in the room, careful. You'll need a lot of levitate potions/scrolls to get through this cave.
Robe of the Drake's Pride, weight 3, 205 value, constant: fort intelligence 10, reflect 25.
Kill Senise Thindo in Tel Aruhn for this robe, she is wearing it. This is a house Telvanni quest, so don't throw it away or sell it and then forget it.
Redas Robe of Deeds, weight 3, 225 value, constant effect: feather 50, detect animal 25f
South of Molag Mar is the Redas Ancestral Tomb. Robe is lying in plain sight on the ground.
Boots of Blinding Speed, AR will fluctuate, weight 8 (light), worth 500, constant effect 100% blind, fortify speed 200
Go to Caledra. Leave town going West. On the first opportunity, turn North on the road. You should pass a naked barbarian first, and soon after run into a woman with shiny boots. Talk to her, and escort her to Gnaar Mok. You'll get the boots after the escort. Not very useful unless you can score an item of enough magic resistance to negate the blind. Cuirass of Savior's Hide is great for this.
Boots of the Apostle, 266AR, 10 weigth (light), 55k worth, cast when used levitate 30-40 for 30.
Find the Dunmer Fortress Berandus, SE of Gnisis. The boots are on a corpse at the very bottom of the fortress.
Surefeet, 3 weight, 2 value, constant effect fortify acrobatics 6
Go see Baladas Demnevanni in Arvs-Drelen in Gnisis and collect his 3 books for him, or simply kill him for it.
Ten Pace Boots, 266 AR, 60 weight (heavy), worth 140k, cast when used: fort speed 20, fort athletics 20, drain fatigue 5, slowfall 1, all for 120 seconds.
From the temple of Vivec, go east a few islands and find the daedric ruin Bal Fel. Boots are in a 75 point chest inside.
