I have seen a few reports and a few posts which say that Microsoft are losing about $100 on each Xbox...

Do you wanna know where they're gonna make up for that??

Let me tell you.
In England.

$299 converts to around £205 (good price for a console)
in England we are paying £300 ($435)...

oh, magic... there's Microsoft's $100 back.....

why do we get ripped off??

I mean its not as if we are paying for transport costs from America with the European Xbox being reeled off in Holland...

There must be some hidden cost. At least you'll be able to get an xbox. I have no idea why they would charge that much more in Europe, but I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with pre-revolutionary war taxes.
