Sept. 20th Email?

So who got this email? what does it mean? they are given away more beta testers? I just wanna know how many people got this email cause I did....post of you got it and any info you have on it.

I'm not sure how much weight that email carries.

Some people who got no surveys made the beta, and plenty of people who got the "hope you make it" mail never heard anything again.

Anyway, yes they will be adding more people. Depending on how selective they were with the mail you got, it could almost be for sure that you'll be added at some point. All info has said that they will be adding people weekly until launch. Anyway, good luck to ya.

hey sniper that kit is yours once you get it. It just like the kit that non testers will buy in November. it better be ours..LOL..ya have to pay for it when you order it as a tester....LOL..just has some extras included that wont be in the retail package. Good luck to you!

hey guys.
I got the same email that says that they will contact me before sept 20 if i get picked for the beta. I am very excited about this because i thought i was out of luck when everyone was getting emails saying that they were picked. This is the first email i have gotten from them, i havent gotten any survey emails. Anyway, i cant wait to see if i have gotten picked.
btw, do you think they sent this to a lot of people, or do you think that i have a good chance of getting picked?

hey dude i got an email and I only know like 5 people so far who have gotten this...there is probably man ymroe but id say we have a pretty good shot at this..i hope.....but this is the first email i got too...amybe we have wut they like when we sighned up

I also got this email. Its basically saying that we might be chosen as the 2nd wave of Beta Testers.

We're not 1st class, I guess we'll be riding Coach.

There is 3rd email out there other then the sept.20th and the link email. I got one that says I have been selected to be a beta tester but will receive the link within the next few days...Anyone else?

I got this one and no others.. How soon did you sign up for beta testing? I signed the same day it was announced...

i dunno wuts going on there were 3 letters sent..i sighned up on august 17th and got this letter....maybe we have a good shot at winning a kit as they are given a large sum more out and a lot of people didnt get this email...but maybe alot did.......

I have now received two of them. Basically the same message in that is says I will be contacted before September 20, but the text of the messages is different. Also, the messages have different dates (8/21 & 8/23) and subjects ("Xbox Live: Your Beta Status" and "Xbox Live Update"). Still playing the wait and see game I guess.

Yeah I got the one that had Xbox Live Update as the subject. Well I hope I get picked. Hopefully noone else is NY got that e-mail. The less there are the better my chances. Do u think they'll send'em all out at the very end or send like 100 everyday until Sept. 20th or somethin like that so the servers don't overload? Signing off...

I also got the Sept. 20th e-mail. But there is also another
email from the Xbox live Beta Team. A friend of mine that
I work with, signed up later than I did and he recieved an
e-mail that was basically the same as the Sept 20th e-mail.
However, his said he would be contacted before a certain
date in October, I don't remember the exact day. He also
did not have to take the two surveys.
