Buying castles in Ebonheart?

I friend (who has the PC version of Morrowind) once told me that he heard that it is possible to buy castles somewhere in Ebonheart. I'm asking you guys if it is true, that you can buy castles in Ebonheart or as part of the Imperial Cult or Legion or something.

I doubt it's true. There are no castles in the game, so I don't think you can buy any.

I dont think you can get castles but you can get strong holds
