Let's put it this way. Sega NCCA2k3 is the way to go. For real. I had NCAA2k2 last year and I love the game. I went into Toyrus 2 weeks ago and was very disapointed at EAsport NCAA2003. What a wait of time. I figure if NCAA2k2 was the bomb. Then NCAA2k3 will be the world best college video football game.

Put money on NCAA2k3, and then go rent EAsport crap. It's ok to rent crap, but don't buy crap!

NCAA 2003 form EA is the best college game out there in my opinion. I didnt care to much for 2k3. I guess it depends on whether you have Madden or NFL 2k3 so you can import your seniors at the end of each season. I just think the EA game offers better gameplay and overall a better game in general. My opinion of course.

NCAA 2003 is easily the better game this year. Sega still needs a year or two to make NCAA2k feel like a college game. But I don't really have many gripes about NCAA2003.

I've already played through 6 full seasons with the Oklahoma Sooners...

NCAA 2003 is the better game by far......it just feels more like a College football game by far.....2k3 has ways to go to capture the feel of college football.

NCAA 2k3 is not great, but it still beats EA's version. EA's gameplay is Godawful, and even though Sega put much more effort into NFL2k3, their college game is better than EA's. Next year, the answer will be obvious, with NCAA 2k4 using NFL2k3's GREAT GREAT GREAT engine, it will be the best college game around by far. This year its close but I'll go with Sega because I have ever since 2k came out for DC and embarrassed Madden for PS.

    Default happy ncaa owner

I have NCAA 2003 and love it. I even decided to buy it over Madden this year. Never even considered the 2K3 games as I've never heard much good about them, nor have I played them.

Dynasty mode in 2003 is awesome and the gameplay is pretty much the same as Madden 2003.

If you're a fan of the EA football series, go with 2003. If you're a fan of the 2K series, go with 2K3. If you don't care, rent them both and decide for yourself which more fits your taste.

I've played both NCAA 2K3 and ***EA NCAA 2003*** (Sorry, I called it Madden NCAA 2003 earlier), and I liked EA better. Like some of the other people said, I think EA captures the feel of college football better. Sega NCAA 2K3 feels kinda rushed or like they didn't spend as much time on it as Sega NFL 2K3.

Plus in EA you can play mascot vs mascot games which is pretty funny.

Ok, sorry. I meant NCAA Football 2003. I got to thinking. You know how you can create schools in this game right? And you can pick your school's fight song? I was thinking, "Why didn't they make use of the global soundtrack feature?" Cause then we could use anything for fight songs.

The only criticsm of NCAA 2003 I have is the game slowdown when running up the middle. It's like it is having trouble with all the people in a small area. Even with this I think it is the greatest football game I have ever played.

The comp between EA and Sega just makes it better for all of us. I think the gap will decrease every year until EA comes up with a new gameplan. Sega has a really bright future in XBox development, IMHO.

I've noticed the slowdown when running up the middle as well.

    Thumbs up

NCAA 2003 is better. I even like it better than both NFL games this year.

I actually HAVE both of these games...dont ask why I bought both, they were both under unique circumstances (IE, a deal i didnt want to pass up). I like the sega game better. That being said, I dont play much of either of them. The combination of NFL Fever 2003 with my new HDTV is hard to beat. The gameplay is similar to what im used to from last years Madden, and the graphics are 2 light years beyond any of the competition thanks to progressive scan! Maybe next year all the game makers will wake up and support HDTV...
