you have a salary cap that you have to live under. Whether you win the superbowl or go winless for the entire season has nothing to do with the salary cap.
Word of wisdom, when you want to re-build your team sign good young free agents because un-proven draft picks ask for more money and it will quickly deplete your cap room.
