how do i kill Darns Tedalen?

so i'm on one of the house hlaalu quests, and i'm trying to shut down the sudanit mine by killing darns. the problem is that their are guards and other foes all around. how do i go about this?

taunt him.

i taunted him atleast 25 times. he says 'perhaps i will end yours' but he never does. wtf?

It has to say, "Taunt Succes" 5x before he will attack you. Or you could:

a.) Steal Something near him or pickpocket him until he attacks you, kill him, recall, or use intervention to leave. And go to the thieves guild and get the price off your head.

b.) Just kill em. Go to thieves guild.

c.) Get better at Speechcraft. Anybody can be taunted into attacking you.
