I loved Shenmue 1. Even though it is pretty linear it is the father of the modern RPG.

Absolutely 100 % my fav series of all time. Nothing comes close to it. I have both for Dreamcast and will also have it for the Box. It also has the full length movie bundled in.

Probably. I already own the game, but I want that Shemue the Movie DVD. I just wish they'd put an option to play either in Japanese or english. The english voice actors are so annoying in comparison to part 2.

I will get Shenmue 2 .. I played the first one on DC and loved it... I have Shenmue 2 for DC but decided to just wait and play it on XBOX instead.... there are so many games coming out.. just hope I can get all of them that I want.

Yep just like you I had Shenmue 1 and thought it was great and I'm so glad it's coming to the XBOX my friend when out and bought Shenmue 2 and I had a quick look at one or two places in the game this game is gonna rock and at last they'll speak english too

Carl... Shenmue 2 comes with a dvd movie to catch you up for part 1 if you missed it... and do you get any games from MIRC?... if you can't find it then maybe you could get it there.

Yea, I knew it had the DVD to watch. But thats not quite the same as actually playing through the first one and beating it.

I used to grab games off of the internet after they started disappearing from store shelves, but then I killed my burner when I took it appart to change out the LED to a pretty blue one like the rest of the ones in my PC.

This is my most wanted game.

1) Shenmue II
2) Splinter Cell
3) Unreal Championship.

Can't wait for shenmue II!!!!!!!
