oh yea. what are the best, must-have sports games for xbox and why? please debate openly as this thread will help me decide which games to purchase. so far, i am leaning towards Fever 2003, NBA 2k3, FIFA 2003, blah blah...

IMO nfl 2k3 over fever, you can probably search and find many threads debating this.

My list from what is best to own toworst.

Football:
1) NFL 2k3
2) Madden 2002 (but choose madden if you don't intend on using Live)
3) Joe Montant Football '94 for Sega Genesis
4) Piece of dog turd
5) NFL Fever 2003

Basketball
1) NBA 2k3
2) NBA Live 2003 (from what I've read... its good)
3) Pat Riley Basketball for Sega Genesis
4) NBA Inside Drive

Soccer... yeah... who cares
Baseball... I'll go watch the grass grow outside thank you.

Hockey... NHL 2003 (or NHL 2k3 if you really really really really really want to play over Live)
