Nhl 2003 ???

Hi...I wanna get a hockey game....I've heard NHL 2003 sucks but I don't really know. Theres no place to rent it here.....My video game store don't have many XBOX games yet and I was wondering what your thoughts on it was before I bought it. Should I wait for NHL 2K3 or do you think that will suck? Just wondering.....love to hear your thoughts.

Wait till NHL2k3. I used to love ea games but man it's gone DOWNHILL big time. Im am not in the least impressed but this game.

Save your money and wait , plus NHL 2k3 will have online and NHL 2003 does not.

Yup, I'd have to agree with Fatal-Error. I loved EA Hockey for years but it seems their game is going the way of their baseball game. Down the tubes.... NHL 2k3 looks pretty exciting along with the LIVE capabilities. Hang on til November, I am as much as I want a hockey game now.

I bought NHL 2003 last Friday and it was promptly returned for an exchange. EA sports will no longer see my money. I actually wrote a short review about the game in the reviews section. Wait another month for NHL2K3.

To wait another month for the REAL hockey game in NHL2K3 isn't that much of a deal. Soon you'll be having the time of your life playing a great puck game. Don't even bother contemplating the purchase of EA's NHL2003. It's terrible!

Yep, NHL 2003 is junk. NHL Hitz is actually my favorite hockey game, but it's not a sim. Just pure fun that actually requires skill. But for a sim game, NHL 2k3 is definitely worth the wait.

However, one would have to be out of his mind not to buy NHL Hitz 2002 (last years version) now that it's so cheap.
