I'm hoping this lives up to the hype

    Been in production for ages.

80/100 from Totally Games Network...not bad.

We'll see what the people say.

    Check out www.teamxbox.com

Great info in the forums there...can be a slow server at times though

Overall, TWS is definately a better snowboaring game than Amped. Graphics are far superior; Music is great; Gameplay is pretty solid too.
Ive put in a couple hours, and sofar im reallying enjoying the levels. Theyre a hell of a lot more open than Amped's were.
Not being able to build a custom character is kinda a downer, but you DO get to play as a buncha pros. The further into the game you get with each pro, you get different boards (for a total of 4, for each pro)

The gameplay reminds me of THPS 3. The balancing for rails is quite similar, and you really need to link tricks if you ever want a good score
Single player looks a little shallow.. doing the same goals for each char might get repetative. We'll have to see.
Multiplayer doesnt seem too involved either. its the same old stuff. Player 1 goes through the level first, gets his score. Player 2 then goes and tries to beat that score. Pretty basic
Lotsa little goodies in this game as well.
    - A great soundtrack
    - Sponsor vids from all the major companies (burton, ride, etc)
    - A buncha teaser vids too.

I love snowboarding, so my oppinion might be a little biased, but im really enjoying this game; and id definately recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Amped
