what game never gets old?

i have noticed alot of posts on the boards that people say things like "once you beat it there is no replay value" and stuff like that...so i was curious what games do you have that really never get old?

only one i have is Hunter the reckoning...i must be crazy but this game really doesnt get old, especially with some buddies and some brew....

If it's multiplayer where you play against your buddies, it's hard to get old. A lot of single player games though get old real fast, just because once you play the game, you know what will happen.

So if you want single player games that don't get old...one that I'm liking right now still is DTR. I played through it twice and probably will play through it again later. But it's still hard to find a lot more replay value out of a single player game than a multiplayer game (especially with Live coming out soon)!

Sport Games ... like Madden, NFL 2K3, NBA 2K3 and (soon) Tiger Woods Golf. These games all have very high replay value.

If you like sports, that is. If you don't like sports, then HALO it is.

TimeSplitters2, which I don't think is really a "great" game, does have several simulated dethmatch areas against bots ... but I don't know how long that will remain entertaining.

Speaking of sports games, this year I believe that SEGA finally topped EA in football and basketball. After many, many Madded games, NFL 2K3 now has better grafice (check out the player faces and expressions) ... and wait until you see the replays on NBA 2K3 ... outstanding.

I keep coming back to SSX Tricky. Something my friends and I have done is play the Garibaldi stage (over and over and over) 1 player on showoff (the mode with all the point multipliers) and see who gets the highest score. Currently I have 2,511,000 but the highest amount humanly possible seems to be around 2,700,000.

TS2 won't prolly get old anytime soon with all the unlockables and customizable multiplayer options, at least it'll tide me over until I can get my greedy hands on Mechassault and UC.

Thats easy, Halo. Eventually we'll stop playing it (around XBOX 3 or so..) and there will be newer games. But as long as you have friends, 4 XBOXs, and HUBS with cables... it is going to be REAL hard to get tired of it.

I still play Halo on-line daily...I love this game...I've never played a game so long and kept such a high level of interest for so long and for playing it as much as I do. In fact, I love Halo so much, I may purchase another copy just for the hell of it
