yeah i just bought it yesterday (nov 7) but i've only played for like ten minutes. I really won't have time to play it more this weekend. I just turned 18 today so i'm going to the casino tonight. see ya dudes

I rented it tonight, and I'm already stuck! I'm still on the ship, I met the girl, got the USP, but now what do I do? the one set of stairs that goes lower than anywhere else is locked!

The gameplay isn't half as cool as Splinter Cell. This one is probably going back tomorrow.

Fu*k yeah I have it!! Right on release day!! Got the last one on the shelf! BOO YAAAHH!! Fu*kin' best game ever!! The PoS2's grafics don't even compare to XBox's on this game!!

Well, because, I read an article about how Konami, the makers of MGS2 Substance and how they were commenting on Splinter Cell. They were simply in "awww" about Splinter Cell. Besides, I'll be too busy playing Unreal Championship on XBox LiveOriginally posted by Liquid Gears

MGS2 substance is a must have game, anyone who knocks this game obviously has no patients for strategy stealth and if they prefer Splinter Cell over mgs2s they’re passing up on one hell of game.

I have the Metal Gear Solid 2 for PS2 and it sucked! Defently not getting Metal GEar Substance!

I like it, its got great vr missions and u get to un lock stuff. I know having raiden in the plant mission was a big let down, but u can have snake in some parts of the plant mision. (snake tales) You can unlock new characters though vr (im working on it).Like raiden in the tanker mission with the sword. But the sad thing is to many movies and talk. In vr you can do weapons training also do eliminate enemy missions.(which is really fun) Over all i think its a great game, with extra feachers the game become a fun and injoyable game to play.
i like the movies, one thing i don't understand is, i thought i would be able to play snake from start to finish? i'm now raiden and theres no option to change that, unless I'm not looking very well.you have to admit, raiden in the water is outstanding, and his fish eye goggles perspective is also impressive. the xbox version has more detail in colors, lot less jaggys and tighter crisper graphics, it's very obvious this is not a straight port.
I'm about to get the President, and so far, it's been alright. I'm not real keen on the control, particularly when having to climb up onto something. I'll have to agree that the water sequences are pretty cool.
Not a terrible game by any stretch, but I'm still salivating for Splinter Cell.
