Need UC 2003 info

ok, ive never played unreal in any form or anything. i am so excited about it because i have seen movies etc, but im always hearing about new "arenas" is it basically like an all out fps in an arena?? im looking forward to renting this game on nov. 15 and then possibly buying it after, but first need some info...what do u do??, is it good on comp?? or anything else related to it. thanks

The "arenas" are basically just big levels where you fight. They're called arenas because Unreal was made as a sport in the original where prisoners would fight (I think). I haven't really been into Unreal so I'm not for sure here.
