XBox: Progressive vs. Standard

Does "Progressive Scan" look REALLY better than the 'Standard' (480i I guess)?

I have an 'older' 36XBR250 Sony WEGA TV (non "Progressive Scan") and I am kind of envious that the newer models (400 and 450) have the "Vertical Squeeze" and "Progressive Scan" features.

Now back to the question again:

Does "Progressive Scan" look REALLY better than the 'Standard' (480i I guess)?

Unfortunately, I haven't seen an older Wega to do a comparison...but, on the new ones, it looks great! So, sorry if I am not helpful...1000 pardons

I think support for anamorphic DVD is far more noticable in terms of quality than progressive scan. If your TV doesn't support that feature it needs replacement, IMHO.
