My Trip To TRU In Times Square, N.Y.C.!
I Went To TRU In Times Square N.Y.C. To Check Out The HUG R-ZONE They Set Up For All The Systems. I Know A Few People Who Work There & They Said To Come Check Out the Scene. When I Got there Lots Of People were Checking Out & Buying the XBOX. Where as The PS2 & Cube Section's Were Rather Empty With A Few People Just Wandering Over To Check Out The RougeLeader Demo, Or Checking out MGS2. I See A Pattern Forming Here Guy's. In The XBOX Section There Were Lots Of Kiosks With Wide Screen TV's That Demo'd Almost all the XBOX Launch Titles. It Was Awesome to See The XBOX Doing So Well. My friends Told Me That TRU Recieved Initially 15,000 XBOX's For Launch. The Next Day Toured The Evening, They Were Down To 1,500. Today they Just Recieved Another 2,000 Units...
