NHL2003 vs. NHL2K3 (Graphically Speaking)

Ok compare these screen shots of the same player and vote for which one is better.

2k3 definitely lacks in graphics, but the gameplay cannot be matched by EA. Plus the LIVE capability makes up my mind on which hockey I am purchasing.

I think that the gameplay really isnt all that great. Its very slow and that pin thing is lame. The goalies are also way too good. I always hear of the perfect sliders which means that Sega (Treyarch) did a poor job on the settings.

We all know that the graphics in NHL 2003 smoke the graphics in NHL 2K3 but the gameplay in NHL 2K3 is way better plus it has online play.

Graphics are better in most areas in EA's 2003, but I wouldn't even play this game if I was paid too. It's a brutal joke at being a hockey sim.

Sega's 2K3 is by far the best ever Hockey video game ever. Sure the graphics are not great, but to me that's something that can be addressed easily compared to the poor gameplay of EA's 2003.

For 2K4/2004, it will be interesting to see if Sega improves the graphics for 2K4. And it will be very interesting to see if EA's 2004 get's redone from the ground up using BlackBox's hockey engine since they have now bought them.

The cover is just a fantasy one that I made since I had a decent picture of Thibault.

So are you saying that if a Canadian born player is not playing in Canada then he's not aloud to be on a cover that I make since I'm from Canada???

Here's another cover of a game I wish they would make: (hope it's okay that I made a cover for a fake NCAA game even though in Canada we don't have the NCAA...lol!)

BTW, I'm a long time Bruins fan, but I now support the Sens since they are my home town team.
