Just wanna add a few tidbits.

First of all... why buy Phantasy Star Online when you can buy True Fantasy Online and play for free?

Also... after the first year of Live is over, your CC will be renewed for 12m ore months. You will be paying another yearly fee after your first year, not a monthly fee.

That's what it said in the XBox Live email I got after I signed up for the service.

    Welcome to Xbox Live™.

As a new Xbox Live subscriber, you are ready to enter the most advanced and exciting online game arena on the planet.

Your Xbox Live service was activated on November 15, 2002. It will last for one year, until November 15, 2003. That gives you 12 months of unlimited game play on Xbox Live.

In 12 months, your subscription will automatically be renewed for another 12 months. At that time, your credit card will be charged for what is then the current rate for a year of Xbox Live service.

Before purchasing this service, you must have read and agreed to abide by Xbox Live Terms of Use, Code of Conduct, and Privacy Statement. You can review these documents at any time in the Policies area of the Xbox Dashboard. You can also view and print your personal copy of these documents at http://www.xbox.com/live.

Of course, you may cancel your Xbox Live subscription at any time. But there are no refunds for remaining time of service should you choose to cancel before the 12-month period has ended. Please refer to Terms of Use at http://www.xbox.com/live/ for the full policy on cancellations and refunds.

If you have a question about your billing, or if you need help with your Xbox Live service, please contact us. You will find contact information for your area in the Xbox Live Terms of Use at http://www.xbox.com/live.

Once again, welcome to Xbox Live.

Note, it does not actually say what the rate will be.
