how can i rip audio from an xbox game?

ive tried searching everything from bearshare to soulseek to old school, web-based mp3 searches (thats right kids, before napster there was IRC and HTML ) for a specific song from a game.

only problem is, its an exclusive track commissioned for that title.
and now, i want to know how to take it from the game and throw it on my hdd.
ive found some nice tips on ripping the whole audio from the game - but last time i checked my mp3 player wasnt playing full dvd tracks :\

the issue there lays in the fact that no tool i can find will splice that format of audio so its not as though i could just chop the track as i like.

anyone know of a program out there that will allow me to do what i need?
