Halo, Ghost Recon, Unreal championship... tons of them out there, I'd have a harder time thinking of games without multiplayer.

You can't co-op campaign, but you can work on each mission individually with the co-op I believe.Originally posted by xbox genius

In campaign, each mission leads to another. Injuries incurred in one, will affect the next mission. Kill one of your unlockable players, he's out.
In mission, you can just select an individual mission. Kills, injuries, etc. have no consequences outside that particular mission.
