Question How long is your gameplay 'tolerance'?

Mine is about 2 hours, 3 maximum, after this period, my eyes turns sore, my fingers numb and my whole body needs some serious rest.

I really don't know how some people can finish a game non-stop, or claim that they beat it under certain amount of time, I think they have super-human stamina.

    What about you?
    Best Regards,
    Cannibal Corpse

I am the type of person who 'enjoys' and 'admires' the scenery and all, I really don't play games for the sake of just beating them...

I have to agree, I can play a ridiculous amount of time playing games when friends and beer are involved. The longest I've ever played an Xbox game straight was Halo for about 7 hours the first night I played. The longest I've ever stared at a computer screen was for 14 hours on a C++ design project.

Well, it was and it wasn't. Stupid program that issued plane tickets, assigned seats and printed vouchers for it. Not even close to the quality an actual airline would use, but what the hell, I'm not getting paid. The program got me an A for my final though.

I dont have a real time limit. I have games I can play based on whatever mood I am in. I then play those games based on the time I feel like playing for.

    Crazy Taxi = Quick
    Grandia 2 = Long

Depends on how good the game is, and how many interuptions I have. If the game is great and no interuptions I have been known to play for 18 hours or so straight (minus fixing of snacks and potty breaks).

i remember when i was playing Shenmue on DC.....it was like 4 in the morning during christmas break. i was in 11th grade. i had to use the restroom......I COULD NOT HOLD IT. it was chit mah britches or learn a new move for Ryu Suzuki. I figured it would still be on the screen when i got back....but nooooooo

some old poor man on the 3rd disc was gonna show me a new move. i missed it. made me plumb mad too. i had it saved so that i would have to replay the whole day just to get back to that place. i had been playing the game all day before and wasnt about to go back a save. never found out to this day what the new fighting move was.

all in all i think i made the right decision. if it was just me that knew that i chose to chit my britchez and learn a new move......man that would be pathetic....hell i spent all day playing the game.

maybe if i had not eaten lunch that day? *shrug*

I usually play a game for like an hour or two. If I have friends over, I can play for about 5 hours.

Morrowind is another story, last summer I stayed up all night playing it, I didn't even sleep. That game was just too damn hard to put down.

I can play for about 7 hours max. The games I've played the most are PD, Goldeneye, Diablo 2, BF 1942, and Warcraft 3.

For me it ususally depends on the game.

Its usually 1-3 hours. Games like Morrowind, I played almost 4 hours everyday during the summer. Or I played Halo for more than 4 hours. It usually depends on the intensity of the game.
