yes... it goes through and lists all connected components and then leaves you with a command point where you have to enter commands to do different functions... the most common one is to play games is: play [gamename].xbx /t /zon -1

Well it called a a E-prom chip,And alot of different things use them.A home dvd player has one,A/v recievers and well alot of things do,That doesnt mean though that home dvd players are pc's.But that is how the x-box boots up to the dahboard is threw that chip.....
