April 25, 2003 - Capcom has shared new high res pics and details for its upcoming Xbox panic action sequel, Dino Crisis 3. The new information primarily concerns how you go about attacking all the villainous dinosaurs that have invaded your ship.
Your basic option for attack is the trusty machine gun. To use this, you press the X button. If you're close to an enemy, you'll automatically lock on to that enemy. While locked on, you can press the R trigger to switch your lock on to different enemies.
The machine gun can be used for a more powerful attack. When you press X and hold it down, in addition to locking on to an enemy, the machine gun will begin to build up a charge as signified by a red target light. When you let go of the X button, a giant charge will fire in the direction of the red light, taking out the enemy in its path. The power of the charge depends on how long you hold the X button down.
