Is PSO worth to play offline?

Is PSO worth to play offline? and u dont have to pay right if ur offline. i dont have live so

Phantasy Star is great. However if you are just gonna play offline i reccomend a used dreamcast and a used copy of pso. THatll save ya alot of dough. Pso is probably my most played game of alltime. ITs seriously addictive. I dont see how people can not like it . ITs great when you find some people who are nice and who you can chat with and kick butt while hunting down treasure and making a creative character. This is probably one of my alltime fav games.

Nine Breaker is right, you must have a Live account to even get the game up and running. You cannot play it offline without a Live account. Makes sense huh? Personally what a way to limit your audience Sega, WTG!
