silent hill 2 vs. 1

Has anyone played Silent Hill ONE on the PS1? I played Silent Hill 2 on xbox....loved it... so I got Silent Hill 1.... but the graphics are just so bad....its so hard to play....and I tried for a few hours.... I guess I am just wondering.... does it get any better? if the story were as good as the 2nd one....I would keep playing it... (the second one started slow too....in my opinion) but the first one is SO SLOW starting off. ( I just got to the hospital). Can anyone tell me if its worth continuing? thanks.

yeah i remember ps1 games were such good graphics now they are so blury and looked like a little kid drew them i tried playing resident evil but the controls and graphics were pretty bad some dreamcast games are lie that cough cough Tomb Raider

yeah, 2 is better, cant stand old craphics anymore, in fact, i'd rather play NES games than PS1
