I am actually into the shooting/sniping games, such as Halo and Unreal Championship. I bought UC for only 17 bucks at my local EBGames yesterday and I have been addicted to the game ever since I started playing it. I had never even played Unreal, but knew what it was about from watching the show Arena on G4.

I do own other games such as Enter the Matrix, Shenmue 2, and even Crazy Taxi 3, but Halo and Unreal get the most play.

I'm really surprised that there aren't more gamers picking Sports. I know Shooters are popular, mainly because there are a gagillion of 'em, but I'm still surprised at how this poll is shaping up.

Wow, looks like shooters are kicking arse. I'm a hooter fan, although I prefer squad based action games over anything, i.e. SOCOM, Brute Force, Conflict Desert Storm, etc. I'm really anticipating this Full Spectrum Warrior.

As far as FSW goes, from the videos I've seen, it's all about guiding your squad, no shooting goodness. (Obviously they shoot, but I didn't see any pulling the trigger)

Maybe I need to hit IGN up or maybe even here but no info has come across me that disputes that.

I'm sure I'll buy it, but I like to shoot things Bang! Bang!
