Xbox to Xbox file transfer

I bought a new Xbox, and after the hours spent burning t00nz to the old one, I want to transfer all the folders directly to the new one, without having to reburn all the individual cd's again. I have a link cable.

Is there a solution?

what? Theres no way you can do it...

you can transfer games through a memory card, but you can't transfer music through system link. You can't even transfer game saves through sys link.

Again, I say it can be done.
It may involve non-standard equipment, but it can be done.
I was simply asking if anyone had done it...

i'm talking about a mod that allows an xbox to communicate/transfer with *another* xbox over a wire. an xbox is a pc lite anyway, right? msft decides where they want to apply their proprietary rights yet again... ya know, i can tx files from one tower to another in my home;

why can't i do the same with the friggin' xboxen???

You can do it.

but would require modding.

A standard out of the box xbox won't transfer files.


and as we all know here, we don't talk about modding
