I know, man...Brute Force on XBL totally would have revitalized me...But, it's not on XBL...downloadable content, yes...slaughtering buddies and telling them naughty things about their mommy's...no.

Why a squad based shooter like Brute Force is not on XBL is completely beyond me.

I would be cool with what you said, but you openly admitted that you haven't played 85% of the LIVE titles out.
    [QUOTE]

Now, though I deserve part of that, I have played many XBL games. I've played Whacked, MotoGP, NFL Fever, Ghost Recon, Mech Assault, RTCW, and Unreal Championship. I own all of those games except for Fever and I only own the demo for Whacked, not the full version. None of those games hold a candle to Halo...which I still can't get over. Halo is so bad ass! I play it on XBConnect religiously.

Besides the huge lineup of SPORTS GAMES on live, you haven't played games such as:

    1. Midnight Club 2
    2. Midtown Madness 3
    3. Soldier of Fourtune
    4. MotoGP 2
    5. Tetris Worlds Online
    6. Outlaw Volleyball (next week)
    7. Star Wars: Clone Wars
    8. Capcom vs. SNK 2 E.O.

While I appreciate everything your doing by helping me, I can honestly say that I have played Midnight Club 2 and hated it. I haven't played it on-line, but, the single player mode hugs ass. Keep in mind, though, that I played it on a PoS2. Midtown Madness 3 I will rent and check out. But, I must say again, I was not a fan of MM2 on the PC...I hope the XBL experience will help this game for me. As for Soldier of Fortune...well, let's just say that many of my trusted clan members, the D.D.C. give about the same regards to this game as I give to Bloodwake - let's just say PoS. I trust them. As for Tetris: eeeerp. No thanks. Outlaw Volleyball? I'll probably rent it for a good time, but, I can't see myself buying it...we'll see. Star Wars: Clone Wars: I heard it completely sucked...I mean, bad. I could rent it to check it out for myself, but, nothing has motivated me on that one. Capcom vs. SNK 2 E.O.....now, I would consider this one since I love the old school 2D fighters...good times to reminisce.

There's no doubt! I really can't wait! But, I also said that about RTCW. I think the game seriously hugs ass except for the single player modes.

I just think that trying to run missions with a bunch of dudes that just mess around instead of completing the objectives is frusterating. Sometimes, I'm more up to mindless killing than trying to motivate a team to earn objectives.

I actually like Ghost Recon now...and am hopeful with Island Thunder. Unreal Championship would be a sweet game if the damn framerate improved. By the way, I still own at that game hehe
Did you download the update/patch? It took out Anti Aliasing which was the main problem. Without it, it apparently improves the framerate alot. Although I always play single player XBL anyway so I never really noticed a problem before.

Maxy, you need to pick up motogp2 This game is friggin electronic crack at it's best. Any game where you can do something as stupid as drive a bike, then be totally bouncing off the walls when you manage to shave 3/10ths of a second off your best lap time? That is a good friggin game Plus flood just bought it too, so I need more people to play with!

    (P.S. Nik has it too.)

here is why MM3 is the must own xbl game:

let me first state that this game was developed from the beginning for the xbox and xbox live. Big difference there when comparing to MC2.

the size of the cities are mind boggling. Also the detail in the cities are scary. MC2 cities are so plain and nothing in the cities are very factual or realistic.

I live in MD which 30 minutes away from D.C. (I've been to DC 100's of times) and the stuff in the game is true to life it's scary....

In terms of size, take L.A. and multiply it by 5 and you get the size of one of the cities.

Like I stated before, this game was made for the XBOX ONLY for a reason!

Now this game shines on LIVE. The LIVE modes, completely rape MC2.

There are 6 modes, here is the rundown:

Cruise lets you wild out and explore with a group of folks. Checkpoint is, as you may have guessed, a checkpoint race through one of the towns. Capture the Gold is perhaps the best mode, and functions as Capture the Flag does in FPS games. In Tag, you have to touch another car to get rid of being 'it' before your times runs out, or you're booted. Hunter forces you either to be a predator or prey, and the object is to be the last car preyed upon. Finally, Stayaway is another game of cat and mouse. You have to hold an object--in this case the rabbit--longer than anyone else.

Also, the game has special features no seen in any live game before.

Once in a game, you can leave to the lobby to change your car and then jump back into the same game. Also, people can jump into already started games.........

The host can customize a game pretty much in anyway he wants.

Another thing I want to point out is that the cars are REAL, and they actualy have REALISTIC physics......

I mean MC2 is a joke in terms of physics and no licensed cars and no realtime damage. MM3 has all of these.

    hope this helped

    Great post man!

Well, he pretty muched summed it up, it's an awesome live game. The best part is, it plays 10 times better than it sounds.

See Unreal Championship. You can also join a game in progress in UC.

and yes, the joining a game in progress can be done in UC, MOTO GP and RTCW........

I wrote that in because it's something that cannot be done in MC2. Usually people are pondering on whether to get MC2 or MM3.........

But the other part of being in a game and then going back to the original lobby and changing your car and then going back in is a first.

Did I mention that while in the lobby, you can talk to people that are actually in game at the same TIME?!!!

THAT'S A FIRST FOR ALL LIVE TITLES!

Live could definitely use a good shooter, Recon is good but like you said, it is pretty much whoever finds the bad guy and shoots first wins. UC was fun but I don't know, too much people b*tch about the Auto Aim On/Auto Aim Off thing. Mech Assault was also fun at first, and the CTF helped, but I don't play the game anymore, just gets old.

Tetris is the game I am into right now, it uses Live excellently, has custom soundtrack, and usually not hard to find a challenege, most of the people on my friends list have it as well. I know you're not a fan of Tetris, you might wanna give it a try but most likely you'd have the same feeling about it.

I am really hoping for a free MMORPG, which I know isn't likely, but no harm in hoping. Hopefully Halo 2 won't be the only game that EVERYONE considers to be awesome on Live, Crimson Skies sounds pretty damn good from what I hear.

Dude, you know that Halo 2 will re-invent XBox Live. Hardly anyone will play any other game...seriously. Unless DOOM 3 and Half Life 2 are on XBL and maybe some huge MMORPG, like you said. Especially if they stuck with the current line-up. I know that a lot of you like XBL right now, but, I just can't get into it because of the lack of fun games... "Fun" meaning, for me.

GR is cool and I'll very likely get GR: Island Thunder. And I definately will pick up Raven Shield. Those two games are my only XBL hopes in the near future. I'll definately re-subscribe since Halo 2 is around the bend, but, that's likely all I will play once it comes out...unless Raven Shield is "all that and a bag of chips"

just what i was thinking I beleive the top live games are going to be (in no order)

    Halo 2
    Doom 3
    Half Life 2
    Counterstrike
    Rainbow 6 Raven Sheild

but i feel halo 2 and half life 2 will be the most played.

the cars are really what makes this game shine.

It's the only "racing game" that has all kinds of cars.
The other cool thing is that although you have most of the cars locked in SP, once you jump online, they are all unlocked. That was a major complaint with MC2 because people would be using the fastest cars against people who hadn't unlocked those cars yet.

It's another way that this game shines online.

*just this morning we were doing the Italian Job with all MINIs. Then we did all Hummers.....

the game is a blast, I returned my MC2 for it and couldn't be any happier.
