How about an XBA Tetris Tourny?

We've been throwing around the idea of doing an XBA tetris tournament with prizes involved for the winners. The details haven't been worked out yet but it will be set up as a ladder system and various gameplay modes will be involved.

Right now we are just trying to see if we have the member support necessary to make a contest of this variety even worth it.

ALL WE ARE LOOKING FOR IS IF YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN A TETRIS TOURNEY We are not looking for suggestions on how to run it, what the prizes should be, or what other types of online tourneys we should try. Tetris is what we are doing, and we are not looking for suggestions on how it is set up.

Alright, so as far as the rules, here is what I am thinking. We are not going to stick to a one type of tetris deal. It will be a ladder system incorperating all 6 types, so noone gets shafted completely or has a total unfair advantage. Point system is still being worked out... but if we want this to happen we definately need more people. Spread the word!

What do you know,,,,, you cant hold a candle to me in NE game type. And I have now been playing the other game types ALOT more; the one time I ever really gave it a go with you MEC and them at Cascade me and MEC went to lvl 15 or there abouts. I played last night at that lame game type and guess what WON EVERY GAME. I just needed more play time at the others then I can own them too. MEC is 28th at Cascade, I can beat that with time alone. MEC we really must play more at both our game types. BTW in case you have not seen I am #1 in square now ppl. Get ready for a fight if this goes down. MORE XBA'ers need to get this game.
