I'm Dreaming of a GREEN X-Mas.....

Hey everybody.

If you were watchin the posts about 2 weeks before to about a week after the launch, you may have seen the popular sticky thread of "Waiting for Xbox" posems, headed by our good friend Maximus. With the holiday season coming in less than a month, i thought it would be cool to have a similar thread, taking holiday songs/poems and adding an X-Box theme.

So, here goes nothing...

(to the tune of "The Night Before Christmas...")

'Twas the Night Before Christmas the neighbors called the cops
making too much noise playing halo co-op

The controllers were nestled all snug in our hands
While visions of convenants danced in our heads

When up on the couch there arose such a clatter
I dropped the controller and asked. "What's the Matter?"

It was a fanboy of LameCube, booing so quick
"I hate the graphics, its oversized and too thick"

He saw our icy stares and he ran away
I called on our fanboys, all of them by name:

"Now Maximus, now Jason, now Shannon and XBOX Dude!
On Steven, on Jeremy, he's being too rude!"

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
the clamping ond clomping of each of his boots

We put up a ladder, and he turned around
We chased after him with leaps and bounds

We tackled him down, beat him in his beer belly
It juggled around like a bowl of grape jelly.

We spoke not a word, we were doing our work
we were beating him up, that poor little jerk

And we exclaimed, as he drove out of sight
"Merry X-Box to all, and to all a good night!"

Here's one I will pull out of my ass (again)

T'was the night before Christmas and all loud as hell
Dudes playing their XBoxes and drinking beer well

Blasting away Covenant with drunken eyes of glee
Can't stop playing, d a m n, having to pee!

Putting the game on pause to run to the bathroom
Running, hurdling chairs, with a wisk and a zoom

Seeing the bathroom door in the distance running with a full blatter
Trying to get their before it gets fatter

Releasing the juice quickly to get back to Halo
And cracking open a new case of Pete's Wicked Ale

Grabbing your genuine XBox controller to kick more Covenant ass
Playing Co-op with your buddy as he passes gas

Feeling like the dudes we are we both dream of new games, of course
Waiting for Summer 2002 for a sweet game called Brute Force

But soon it will be Christmas and what will be on my gaming list?
You know: Medal of Honor, Azurik, and Munch...you get the jist

Until then, playing XBox now feels so right
And to the rest of my XBox Addict buddies, have a great XBox night!

In the store, I see Tricky
Im gettin Amped, for $50.50 (*fifty fifty*)
I'll hold it so tight, sleep with it at night.

In my High School, theres a guy named Tony
He pretends cube's better than the box.
Asks me if I agree, and I say "No Man!

I will commend Skoot182
For a very interesting poem for me and you

It's has some nice rhymes, there is no doubt
But not of them do, but don't pout

Instead I'll think of getting off work so I can go home to play
Due 5:00pm, I'll be on my way

For another night of gaming excellence at home
Cracking open another beer as I blow off the foam

Grabbing my XBox controller like a pit bull
Playing my game, Amped, as I crash and break my skull

Getting up for another bad as jump
Flying through the air hoping not to land on my rump

Ah, but instead, what do I see
Another perfect landing as my face lights up with glee

I celebrate by partaking another beer
Ending with a huge belch and a delightful cheer

Dreaming of my game PGR to drive on Kudos Challenge
Drinking my beer by the gallons

Then, to my surprise, I stop my game
To put in PGR after winning on Amped some Newspaper fame

Getting in my Skyline and trying to get gold
D a m n, I've been playing with this car a long time, but it never gets old

Hoping to get my Audi TT
Realizing my blatter is full again, d a m n, I have to pee

Another quick trip on the way to the john
It's so late as I let out the juice as I start to yawn

And another great time playing my XBox, alright!
And to all, once again, have another great XBox night!

Gamecube Roasting on an Open Fire,
Gasolene dripping from its holes,
Purple Purse, fresh fileted (*fil-ayed*) by our guys,
We made it into Lamecube toast...

Every body knows, an X-Box, even PS2
Will help to make the season bright,
All those brats, snot dirippin' out their nose,
Better kiss thir cube goodbye.

And now when St. Nick sees his sleigh,
there'll be some fresh made X-Box games, shipped today
And every gamer guy, is gonna smlie,
When everybody sees, Gamecube fry...

And so I'm brushing on some oil glaze,
to keep it crisp and juicy too!!!

T'was another night approaching and all is good
Ready to head home back to the hood

Urging to play XBox and have a few beers
Making a few calls to get some joining peers

Drinking so much hoping not to get a blatter infection
Giving Jason-XBA an honorable mention

See that Jason-XBA wants to be noted
It was my decision for this even though he voted

From conversing with this man, I see he likes Project Ego
Indeed, a bad ass game, his decision is good and rightly so

It is my goal in this poem to make Jason-XBA feel included
And by doing so, I may not be booted

From this incredible site we call XBoxAddict
With excellent reviews, news, and views, so we don't have to panic

So, rest assured that we have a great place to be when we can't play the XBox
It's called XBoxAddict which is for players, pimps, and even jocks

So, another great time with our XBoxes, alright!
And to all, have another excellent gaming time tonight!!!
