What is xbox live like

I love it!

I don't know if you should get it. Do you like multiplayer games? I think the price of $50.00 US for a year is definately worth it.

You have to be able to talk during games though. I see lots of people never saying a word through a whole game. Some hosts kick people who don't talk or don't have the voice module plugged in.

Anyway, I think it adds a lot to playing a game.

i dont have it yet but im moving soon and will deffinatly have it in october!

Perrsonally i cant wait for it, ghost recon should be immense! i reckon that u should get it cause we need more brits on Live from what ive heard.

There are a decent amount of brits, (I've got 5 or 6 on my FL) but certainly less than canadians or americans.

Anywhoo, live is great. There are problems, but once you know your way around, most of those disappear.

Well the only one that I really consider a problem is that almost all games are p2p. There are very few MS run servers out there.

This means a lot of laggy games. Once you learn what to look for and build up your FL, this stops being a big problem. The only time I really have trouble is in the mornings when I get off of work, because no one I know is really on. Other than that, I've built a large part of my FL around solid servers, so I join them.

I notice not many Brits on games like Ghost Recon, but they flock to Moto GP. Usually, that's where all the Brits I meet are on. But to answer the question, XBL is definately worth w/e you have to pay for it. Great purchase, it adds so much more to all the games.

Hmm, that's kinda strange. All the brits on my friends list are people I've met playing GR.

Live gives alot of replay value to games that are playable online. Hours can pass without u noticing. I recommend it to anyone if u have the money of course. As Dukebuckhorn said there can be some lag from time to time
