Does anyone know how many teams there can be in Halo on System Link? I think there are only Red and Blue from what I've tried. I was just wondering if it was possible to do a 2v2v2v2 and such. Thanks.

i haven't played halo for THAAATT long but i think you can only do rvb 2 teams.. maybe i'm wrong though..

What i thought you could play 16 players on halo? I wouldnt know for sure though becasue i cant get that many people to play
ive played 16 player halo plenty of times.....only two teams two colors.....but for 16 player halo you need 16 controllers 4 tvs 4 xbox and alot of food

Yes, there is only the option to be on the red team or blue team regardless of how many people are playing.
That would be pretty sweet, though...having a red team, blue team, green team (for example) and a brown team (again, for example) and do a 2 v 2 v 2 v 2 match. Imagine a level like Blood Gulch and having, instead of two bases, four bases!
Bah...it really doesn't matter to me...I still think the current set-up is sweet.
Also, if you ask me, I think 8 v 8 (which I have done many times) is almost a little too chaotic. I prefer a good 3 v 3 or 4 v 4 match. It seems that whenever I do a 8 v 8 Blood Gulch CTF match, I must get nearly 300 kills by the time it's done. It's nutz...
yeah only red and blue...which sucks that need to make it at least 4 so u can do 2v2v2v2 which would be sweet!!! maybe in HALO 2...lets hope so...

Halo's multiplayer could have been a bit more like Perfect Dark's. Something like 8 different teams, tons of different characters to play as, weapon selection, BOTS....sure, only 4 human players, but still.
BOTS MAN, friggin' bots!!! i'd be playing halo as we speak if it had bots. i dont like the campaign mode enough
