Xbox wireless adaptor info leaked!
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp. has won federal approval for a wireless adapter for its video game console that allows players to connect to the Internet without cabling, according to a posting on a regulatory Web site.

Nice, although one can already achieve a similar practical effect by hooking a wireless access point to the Ethernet port of an Xbox. I believe there exists a USB adapter for Xbox as well to connect to other products without Ethernet ports.
Also, since a TV and the Xbox itself still need to be plugged in, this would only be really enjoyable with a portable screen of some kind and a battery pack for the Xbox. Then you'd be truly "wireless" and could play Xbox anywhere. Now that would be great!
