Default Another NBA Inside Drive-04 preview

    Source

One of the biggest and most obvious improvements over last year's offering is the inclusion of Xbox Live compatability. For some unexplained reason, Microsoft failed to include this feature in last year's Inside Drive, while Sega's NBA 2k3 did. But we can all leave that behind us now, as Inside Drive 2004 not only lets you play through Xbox Live but it features many new and exciting options specific to the XSN experience. Its as easy as a simple trip to www.xsnsports.com where you can sign up for a league/tournament or just create your own. League games will be scheduled and you and your opponents will be reminded to attend via email. If you don't show, put a fat check mark next to forfeit in your record book. Another innovative aspect to XSN is the sending of up-to-date scores, statistics, and trade proposals to your web-based hand held device. It's great to see such improvements to a game that had so much potential last year, if all the new aspects are implimented as planned consider Inside Drive the pinnalce of online basketball.

I hate screen shots at angles from which you'll never play the game....

ID: 2004 with live capabiltiy is attractive... but I'll probably stick with ESPN Basketball. I've gone from:

    1) NBA 2K (first b-ball game ever!)
    2) NBA 2K1 (used to play online with dc)
    3) NBA Inside Drive 2002 (regret)
    4) NBA 2K3 (used to be addicted)
    and soon to be
    5) ESPN Basketball 2004

BTW: Why is there a screenshot with Brad Miller (ex-Pacer)? Don't they know we lost him to the Kings?

I like this game better than all of the other b-ball games. It's more realistic, the 2Ks' are too stiff.

Those screens look sweet. Will any of the upcoming games support hdtv? I know espn did last year so it will probably be supporting again.
