I you have LIVE, then espn. I you dont have LIVE then ESPN. Their franchise mode is serious, and if you tweak the AI sliders, youll be playin forever.

I voted for Madden NFL 2004, because I've actually played it. But it seems that ESPN Football 2K4 has the majority of the votes.

ESPN! I checked the reviews on Madden 2K4 and ESPN on IGN, ESPN got a higher score even though they say Madden is the best football game out there. I am playing Madden on my G-Cube (only because I can't find it for rent on Xbox right now) and I hate it. ESPN to me is sooo much better, especially graphics wise.

I voted for Madden b/c I own and compared to the demo i have os ESPN, Madden plays alot better. I really enjoy the features of ESPN though.

If I have to choose between those two I'd say ESPN is better,but my personal fav is NFL Fever 2004.Read and Lead is sweet.

ESPN 2k4 has my vote. I have played Maddan 2004 and EA is no longer the king when it comes to virtual football. There is no competition and EA will have to step it up if they want to get the crown back. Maddan 2004 is just lucky that EA is a marketing monster.

I am a big Madden fan, but have gotten tired of the really high scores that I have gotten almost every time. I mean, cmon, does having a average score of 92 points make sense at all? So, I went ahead and bought today three ESPN games: Football, Hockey, and Basketball. Very impressive indeed. Im very happy I gave ESPN and Sega another chance.
