Why the **** do people still buy ps2? I dont understand why someone would spend the same amount of money that could buy an xbox on the ps2.

wow, I really figured that the Xbox would have sales at least slightly close to the ps2 but dang, ps2 out does all the consoles by a hell of a number. I really thought ps2 sucked, thats why I traded it in to buy some Xbox games I also figured that Xbox would do better cause it seemed that all the people i know and their mother's were buying Xbox, I guess I am a little disappointed, by an Xbox people

Yeah...no kidding. PS2's technology is over 3 years old. Hell, at that age, I would simply wait for the PS3 if I were only going to buy a Sony console.

Hmm I find that info hard to believe since it has been reported ps2 has suffered a lost in sales and xbox has had a increase.

Still big difference in numbers though but still.

Hmm...this sounds strange. In the November issue of OXM, they claimed XBox exceeded 10 million units sold worldwide. Perhaps that info was only the United States or something...

George89, you should put up the source from where you go the statistics.

Personally, I think that the Xbox has a lot more units sold.

Plus, I completely agree with DocHoliday78. The Xbox is so much better than PS2...in everything.

Not that I doubt your numbers, but I could only find totals for Japan. Obviously, those numbers are going to go against the XBOX.

Am I missing it on the site??

Those numbers just seem a little too spread out, I know in our particular store more people are trading in PS2's for XBOX's, and the XBOX is outselling the PS2. Now I know my store is not the world, but it was a real "Pro PS2" store for a long time...not so much anymore.
