Default Ambient AI or Difficulty levels?

Ambient AI is a nice way to ensure you don't get people stuck for long periods of time and out of frustration lose interest in the game but I'm not a fan of it. I would rather have them stick to making difficulty levels. That way if you want to play the game for fun you can put it on easy and if you want a real challenge you can out it on a higher setting. Developers should put more time into creating more realistic AI and differentiating that in the varying difficulty levels. Your thoughts?
SC: PT will have a version of Ambient AI

If I'm not mistaken, Max Payne 2 had ambient AI no? Or maybe some version of it... since Painkillers would come in varying quantities based on your skill level. Worked well on MP2, and why shouldn't it work well on SC?

Yes, MP2 had a version of Ambient AI and it was a bit on the easy side. It would have been nice to stick it on 'Difficult' for a better challenge.

Well, it's just adapt to your style of playing the game.
Back into the world of gaming.
