I just have to say that i saw my gamecube disk for the first time. Holy ****t that is the funniest yet stupidest thing ive ever seen. when i touched it , it broke in my hand. absolutly pathetic

yeah it is tiny and it can't hold as much as a dvd-9, the only reason i can figure as to why nintendo did this was to protect it from piracy

This is nintendo's first disc-based system. All the rest were cartridges. Piracy was probably the reason too.

The only thing that Super Monkey Ball is good for is a Beer coaster....what the hell was Nintendo thinking? They need to grow out of their pampers (no pun intended, Ninja Scroll hehe)

The GameCube disc can contain 1.5 gigs of information. YES the disks are already being burned. YES they do sale dics that small so you can burn GameCube games on it. I have seen a few websites already selling them at 10$ U.S. for any game out. The only machine that i know of that hasn't been hacked yet is the famous XBOX

P.S. How do they burn the games???????? Apparently with a DVD burner. Who makes the dics that fits in the GameCube ?????? I don't know

Oh yeah forgot to tell you ( even if you don't care ) that the Cube doesn't need a chip to play the games........... only the proper patches are needed to boot up the game

i dont wanna get flamed for this or anything, so dont try to contradict me or anything cause i know this as a fact.
if youve ever heard of a program called irc, or mIRC, then you know about channels. there are many xbox channels. they are ripping the games and theyre probly out now, they were rumored to be out sometime in the beginning of january. at first i said no way they cant copy them, but i asked around and they said that in order to fit the games, they would have to rip the movies (take them out) cause those are really big. they will be fitting them on regualr cdrs. before any of you say that im lame cause im a pirater or games, i just wanna say that i WILL NOT pirate xbox games. the only reason for that is because the movies are being taken out, a game isnt good without movies, halo wouldnt be as good as it is without the movies. so, in conclusion, you can copy xbox games, check out the channels on irc and ask around on the channels if you dont believe me, they probly already have the isos.

Well they can talk and talk about having burned games but unless its on my CD and in my XBox playing I wouldn't believe it. Lotsa people talk this and that, Remember the Dreamcast Emulator "Nitemare?" The guy who made it charged money for it claiming it worked and had screenshots to back it up, yet it was actually fake. I wouldn't believe the GC disk copying either until I actually saw it in action despite the fact they are charging for "so called" games. I wouldn't believe everything I read on some trashy pirating channels or games/porn sites. They aren't exactly the bastions of truth.

umm... all those ripped xbox games in irc are all bullsh**... go over to the xboxhacker.net forums, read a little - the xbox games use a dual-layer burning method, plus encryption, which they aren't even close to breaking... in the future, it may be possible, but as of yet, nope

I have a mini disc shelf on my computer, just i dont have mini discs.its the inner ring of my cd drive and they work perfect I used to have a game that was a mini disc. that may be how they can
