Well I am in the process of doing just that. I am on the two betrayels level on normal right now. I think why most of us haven't found this out yet is because most of us play it on easy. And even when you beat it on normal, the only way to carry 3 weapons is to play it on heroic.

When I did beat the game I beat it on normal, and I've done all the levels up to 343 Guilty Spark on Heroic and Legendary, and I've never been able to carry 3 weapons

i have done it but me and my friend were just screwing around on level one on heroic and when i went out of the bridge i didnt get my pistol and the three covent werent there and the door was open i didnt get my assult rifle i had to find one when i found it my pistol came up and so did my assult rifle then i rand over the covent pistol and i had all three so it works i guess

yes ......wait a min it i beat it on easy i did a few on norm but i didnt beat the game but some how i got 3 weapons it was fun even though we went and mutined and shot old capt. right between the eyes
