    Default Online play?

Do you need a computer with broadband capibilites to use the online play? Or does it go straight from the XBOX to the phone line? Also I want to know will you be able to surf the web and/or download demos expansions or will you just be able to play games? thats all thanks

Well, it'd be "possible" to connect by just using dialup. You'd have to use a pc and share the IP, but from what I hear, it'd be a huge waste of time, because of how slow it'd be.

As for surfing and demos. I believe I heard this was true with Microsoft's online service scheduled this spring I believe, but I don't know where I heard that from.... maybe it was their site www.xbox.com.

    XBOX is broadband-only.

I don't know what the dial-up xDSL people will have to do but I'm pretty sure Microsoft has taken them into consideration.

My assumption is that you will plug your XBOX into a hub or switch if you intend to share your internet connection with other devices.
