It will be fun probably but it does look alittle ps2ish and they should make the cars nice and reflective like PGR but the crashes look even better and more detailed but still the second one was easy and short so i am gonna wait till the price goes down to reach the games value.

Hmm....why not Acclaim anymore ? EA try to get every good things and throw it for PS2....

Well, even with EA in on the mix it still looks like one amazing upgrade too bad its not going to be live. :o I think I'll buy this one thought.........darn EA............monopolizing the gaming industry isn't funny at all.

who r u kidding? it looks freiking awesome. I just hope it has lots of cars. That was the main problem w/ the 1st 2 Burnouts. The cars were way too generic

Don't get me wrong...it looks good and the PS2 is capable of some good graphics...I just believe the XBox is capable of a hell of a lot better graphics.

I know that graphics aren't everything, but, when examining only screenshots, that's the only reference bar to use...nah mean?!

doesnt look PS2'ish to me. but it is still in development, i mean they still have 6 months of development time so give it a chance. anyway..im freakin hyped bout this game!! cant wait!!!

Well, it has good graphics, but Xbox can do way better look at PGR

If you haven't already, get Burnout 2, its REALLY cheap

Cant wait to see what the upgrades are for gameplay, cause BO1 was nothing compared to BO2..

There's a pretty simple reason the game looks PS2-ish. It's being developed by Critereon Games and probably uses the Renderware Engine. Renderware is a multi-platform engine, and supports PC, PS2, XBox, and GC.

If I had to guess, we'll be seeing another PS2-baseline product with nicer textures for the Xbox version.

Would'nt you love to see PGR-quality visuals in the BO series? I would, but it ain't gonna happen. Renderware games are pretty much about playability, not the eye-candy. (GTA3, TH3, BO2).

I really enjoyed Burnout 2 and will still probably pick this one up when it comes out. Chances are the gameplay will be there.

The third pic doesn't look that great. I mean the background. The cars in them looks so much like toy cars. It also looks like its been sketched.

I hope that this game will have some great play because I think the pics are nothing to be excited about. Gotham or NFSU smoke it visually. They do have more time though and it does look very interesting. I love car games especially since getting a Mad Catz
