The Advanced A/V Pack requires an S-Video input that should be located on the back of your TV (it might be in the front of your 60"...either way, it's on the front or back).

If it is not marked, the S-Video input looks like a five pin female input...it has five little holes and is flush with the back of the TV.

Are you SURE your Hitachi is not a rear projector?
I don't think they make tube TVs that large.
If it weighs less than 300 pounds and it isn't a plasma screen then the odds are it's a rear projection TV.

The biggest 'tube' tv that hitachi makes is 36" so it is definately projection. The question is if it is their 60" analog set or their 61" digital or HDTV set.

Either way all three have component and s-video connections but since you got the advanced pack already just use it on both. Kind of a weird question if you ask me.
