While playing Rainbow Six 3, I was alerted that there was a new Live update. I downloaded it and thought nothing of it. Nothing really happened, so I went searching for a link. I can't find one anywhere. Does anybody know what it did?

It's the AR patch, and you cannot peak through walls anymore.

Please see below for the official list of fixes in the Auto-Update that is to be released soon:
1. The "hacked" gear room allowing access to molotov ****tails, silenced G3A3, and allowing users to carry multiple primary weapons will now be an empty slot, thus not allowing users to have these weapons/abilities anymore.
2. The peek bug allowing a player to see through walls has been fixed. Users will no longer be able to "glitch" and see through walls.
3. Number of CO-OP attempts will now be recorded on the XBL Leaderboards.
4. Number of successful CO-OP missions on a dedicated server will also now be recorded on the XBL Leaderboards.
These are the confirmed and official fixes coming in the update. Like I said before, cheating will never prevail and Ubi will do everything it can to hinder or stop it and those that choose to do it.

actually i downloaded the new patch and i entered this room, so i go damn this is sweet with no cheaters, then the dude goes well i have a way to use molotovs i go whatever, then when we get int he game he starts throwin them so......but everything else seems to be fixed.

I found a new glitch in one of the new maps, and it isnt a good glitch, it actually can end of making you kill yourself.
You're actually right. Honestly, I got really bored with the lag on R6:3...and when the AR people came on, I just stuffed the disc back in the case. I still own the game, but, seriously, R6:3 is far better when playing in a smaller group and being closer to a server. With me being on the West Coast, it's really lame connecting to an East Coast server and having such a horrible time with lag.Originally posted by Casper-XBA

I would swear that I shot dudes so many times later to find out that I didn't at all because of the huge bullet delay. On a local server, it's a whole different story.
Honestly, R6:3 actually made me disconnect my XBL...Ubisoft is notorius for laggy ass games. I don't lag when I play Links, Crimson Skies, or any MS published title...but, Ubisoft games I do...going back to Ghost Recon.
Max - even when I'm not hosting, I don't notice much lag when I have 3 stars - if I have below that, I leave and find a better server. The thing with RS3 - they have body armor, so you gotta get headshots. That's pretty weak that you gave up like that, in all honesty, and there's still other games out there that everyone plays.
And where the hell was the lag in GR or GR IT? Man, UbiSoft is the BEST company ever for the XBox, no denying that, due to everything they've done for us.
Crimson skies? Now that's a game with serious lag issues, hence, why it had half of the users on this site return it for another game.
Well even after the download I got hit with a molotov. Only the second time this has happened but I also notice the tip of a gun sticking out of a door in the penthouse. Weren't this to be fixed with the update or was it just aimed at lag or something? Think I'll be traiding this.
