Metal Gear Solid X?

I've been reading a lot of rumors lately on the net about MGSX. People saying that MGSX is just an enhanced version of MGS1, or saying that the game doesn't even exist. Konami announced almost two years ago that MGSX, a port of MGS2, would be released for Xbox. Since that announcement, Konami hasn’t breathed a word about MGSX. There are several articles stating that MGSX is coming to Xbox. But most of those articles are over a year old. So when is [U[Konami[/U] going to come out of dark, and give us some light on MGSX? There are too many rumors flying around on the Internet about MGSX. Konami needs to straighten this all out, and just tell the world exactly just what MGSX is, and when it is going to be released.

I can see from the number of people that have read this thread, and from the number of people that have replied, that none of you care about Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty coming to Xbox. I think MGS2 is not only one of the best games of 2001, but one of the best games of all time. But apparently that's just me.

You know, as much as I would like to see either game (1 or 2) come to the Xbox, I don't think it will. I think if they haven't put any news out lately, then it's either a super secret project or it's not coming out at all. I hate that. I heard a lot of games were coming to the Xbox long before it was out and now I don't hear a thing about any of those games. ****'t!!

I'm confident that Solid Snake will appear on Xbox in some way, shape, form, or fashion. I think Konami is just keeping quite about it until E3. IMO

I personally don't really care if this game comes out for the xbox, but in the March (2002) issue of EGM, they mention MGSx for the xbox.

"Solid Snake and the cast of MGS2 return for the enhanced Xbox version. TBA"

It can be found on pg.38 in the ON THE RADAR section.
