Xbox is gonna be $200.00?????

I just read somewhere that xbox might be 200.00 because not only can ms do it but they are really going to get profit at selling the games, so i geuss they should sell it for 200.00, also it would definitely beat gc at launch, and i thought to myself if they sell for 300.00 people are going to buy the 200.00 gc instead unless they are really in to xbox, like us.

I seriously doubt they'll drop the price. At $300 they are already losing $100 per machine. And console manufacturers rarely change prices after they've made them official.

U know the price drop is not totally out of the question. It would not be good business for MS and Sony to sit and wait as Game Cube flies off the shelves for $100 bones less. Matter of fact, we've seen this in the past with Sony and Saturn. If I remember correctly Sony drop their price and Sega had no choice, but to match it to remain competitive. Anyway, in the end this can only benefit us the consumer.

Well, Microsoft is going to lose $190 dollars every Xbox sold. Even they won't bring that up to $290. You know how they love money...
