Multiplayer or Single Player?
Well for me, the multiplayer has hyped me up the most, probably because we haven't seen any single player action for over a year now though.

Single player. I'm really looking forward to the multi as well, but Halo was the game that really turned me from a casual FPS'er to loving the genre.
All said, I'm sure the MP will get countless more hours from me than the SP, but I'm more hyped to see the furthur story and such.
RIP Dave
Definitely multiplayer for me. When i think of the 70+ hours I spent on SCPT's multiplayer compared to the less than 10 on single player, that's how much of an online gaming addict i am. Also, unless there are some memorable levels (like Halo's Assault on the Control Room), i'm likely to only play through single player once on normal and maybe try it out on legendary
No that shows how much of a loser you areOriginally Posted by MM3_XBOX

That being said, I'm looking more forward to the single player. I believe that the story in H2 is going to many many times more in depth and much more interesting. Not that H1 had an un-interesting story line, I just think that if H2 follows along with H1 and the Halo books (First Strike in particular) the story is going to blow us away.
I would have to say the the multiplayer has me the most hyped right now. Thats probably because, well, we've heard nothing about the single-player campaign during this year's e3
Single player, I want the story!

both for me
Gotta love the fact that Bungie is keeping single player top secret, but that doesn't overshadow the fact that Halo 2 beat out all the MMOs at E3 for best online multiplayer.
i agree. campaign mode is gonna get old after you beat it a couple times...multiplayer is where it's at as far as replayability goes, IMOOriginally Posted by ScorpionX

I guess everyone has their own opinions but I thought the game and story changed dramatically from that point. The story of Halo is a very compelling one and I think we will be seeing "something completely different" in the campaign. Possibly something that won't take 2 or 3 days to beat, but maybe a week or so.
I'm all over the multi-player, however, I admit I will only play the single player until beat...which should take all but a day or twoAfter that, it's all about Multi-player and beating foolios down with premium Halo skillz

haha I think it will take a week to beat that, especially on legendary.Originally Posted by Maximus SYN
well, if its got co-op via live, then i'm definately gonna be stuck in that game for hours a day. I have a friend back in Kansas City that i used to play games with all the time, but since i've moved, its kinda sucked for both of us. Hell, I had a small 25" tv i would lug over to his place when we wanted to play brute force (coop).
But i'm excited for both, i can hardly stand the wait, for that, and for fable.
Playing through a couple of levels backwards in halo was the most stupid, unorigional, trick ever. I hope that they don't do that again. And I will be extremely p.oed if we get another level like the library
They had one year to make Halo for Xbox. They had to scrap the majority of 3 years worth of work when they were purchased by Microsoft. Give them more credit because Halo is DAMN good for the time they had to work on it. Besides, I think all the levels are great, and they fit in with the story.Originally Posted by bostwick202
do you work for bungie or are you just a bungie fanatic cause you fit the kind of person who works for them. He's right they didn't have that much time to make the game, so they had to scrap everything, including the online multiplayer.Originally Posted by ZeroFlaw-XBA

I just changed my pre-order for the Limited Edition Halo 2 set instead of the normal version...
I am proud to announce that I was the very first person to pre-order at Game Crazy...now there are over 300 people, I was told. Probably because I pre-ordered almost 2 years ago!![]()
